Annual Public Meeting

The Kildare Joint Policing Committee will be hosting its annual public meeting from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. on Monday 3rd December 2018

Venue: Coláiste Lorcáin, Castledermot, Co. Kildare.

Theme: Understanding and responding to anti-social behaviour in our communities

Guest Speaker: John Lonergan, former Governor of Mountjoy Prison

Joint Policing Committee Membership

The committee has 37 members comprising:

15 Elected members with at least two from each electoral area. The Mayor will be an ex-officio member.
11 Oireachtas members
2 Local Authority Representatives (The chief executive and one other nominee)
2 Garda Representatives (One being the Chief Superintendent)
7 Community Representatives.
