Joint Policing Committee Membership

The committee has 37 members comprising:

• 15 Elected members with at least two from each electoral area. The Mayor will be an ex-officio member.
• 11 Oireachtas members
• 2 Local Authority Representatives (The chief executive and one other nominee)
• 2 Garda Representatives (One being the Chief Superintendent)
• 7 Community Representatives.
